Jonathan Yong, Managing Director

Mr. Yong has been a leader in various military, public and private appointments, accountable for mission and business outcomes, operational readiness, system capability, and leadership development. He worked in both civil-military and international cooperation assignments, leading members from different cultures and backgrounds.

Mr. Yong is an advocate of system performance and believes in realizing the potential of people. After a 30-year military career, he served as the Director for Strategic Planning at the Singapore Ministry of Communications and Information and was appointed by the Singapore Army to coach senior commanders for 10 years.

Mr. Yong joined IHH Healthcare in 2018 as CEO of Parkway College and VP for System Development (Knowledge Management). He led the college business change from providing private healthcare education and academic courses to focus on IHH in-house workforce development, providing agile training solutions supporting the evolving demands of the healthcare sector.

Mr. Yong’s leadership experience was accumulated from various appointments in large organizations in the military, public and private sectors, in teamwork involving cross-cultural and international cooperation, in leading policy, operations and appreciation of tactical level details. His Engineering education anchors learning in information technology, process and system design. He advocates that organizations need to win the learning competition to remain relevant. He currently provides pro-bono career coaching for young people.
